There's something magical in the water...
Aloha!
Oahu, Hawaii has long been one of the most desirable vacation destinations in the world. Although not the biggest island, it is the main one and home to the capital, Honolulu. Oahu, translates to "The gathering place" has the largest population out of all the islands. As you can imagine, it can get pretty crowded here. The island thrives on its tourism, and every year more and more sugar fields get torn up in order to make space for residential and commercial real estate. On top of that, the island is home to many of our favorite films. You might have seen: Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor, Godzilla, Journey, LOST, 50 First Dates, Hawaii 5-0, The Karate Kid-Part2, Waterworld, Tropic Thunder, Avatar, and so many more that were all filmed here. If this is something that interest you, then I would highly recommend that you head out to Kualoa Ranch on the north eastern part of the island for an unforgettable ATV. This experience will let you visit some of the most famous locations in movie history. If relaxing is your thing, then the Sandbar would be your choice. Just outside of Kaneohe Bay runs a tide that will create a sandbar where you can dock your boat, set up a chair, and enjoy a 360 degree view of the ocean with the beautiful island off in the distance. This is truly a magical place, and you know what they say - there is something magical in the water here. There is so much to explore on this island and I will keep posting about the wonderful places that can change your life forever. Next, I will cover the world famous Waikiki beach, where surfing originated, and the incredible Hanauma Bay where the beauty of the underwater world is unlike anywhere else.
Mahalo!
